The Philadelphia Voices app allows you to participate in a collaborative community project launched by The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Knight Foundation, and MIT Media Lab. Composer Tod Machover, of the MIT Media Lab will work with residents to capture the sounds of Philadelphia. With this app you will be able to record and upload your voice along with other sounds you hear around our city. Using as many materials as possible that you submit, Tod Machover will compose Philadelphia Voices, which will premiere on April 5, 2018 in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center, conducted by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin and performed by The Philadelphia Orchestra.
